This afternoon i spent 2 hours at the park, with the sun shining down on me its all its glory. God, how i've missed you. It's been too long. I mean, you've shown up, on occasion, with your brightness, but none of your warmth, and now that you've returned after this longest winter, my whole body is absorbing your rays, my hair is still warm from you, my skintone is richer, and its as if i'm smiling from the inside of me all the way out. The endless dark evenings, the long grey days and the snow and the snow and the snow. All is forgiven.Today holds in its outstretched palms, the promise of all my tomorrows. After a short period of stagnancy, i feel the emerging of everything that i am capable of manifesting in my world. And. It. feels. GOOD.
Listening to New Amerykan, part two by Erykah Badu...it reminds me of lazy hazy summer days in the South...
Reading The Baby Making Bible by Emma Cannon and Anais Nin's The Four Chambered Heart...
Watching too many episodes of Weeds back to back...
